Template:Nihongo is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Coffee. It has been serialized in Kodansha's [[Seinen manga|Template:Transliteration manga]] magazine Monthly Afternoon since January 2019, with its chapters collected in 13 Template:Transliteration volumes as of August 2024. In North America, the manga is licensed for English release by Kodansha USA. An anime television series adaptation produced by Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics is set to premiere in 2025.

Manga

Written and illustrated by Coffee, Wandance started in Kodansha's [[Seinen manga|Template:Transliteration manga]] magazine Monthly Afternoon on January 25, 2019.[1][2] Kodansha has collected its chapters into individual Template:Transliteration volumes. The first volume was released on May 23, 2019.[3] As of August 22, 2024, 13 volumes have been released.[4]

Kodansha USA announced the English release of the manga in North America, with the first volume being released on June 28, 2022.[5][6]

Anime

In August 2024, it was announced that the manga will receive an anime television series adaptation. The series is produced by Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics and features Riehata as a dance producer. It is set to premiere in 2025.[7][8] The series will be streaming on Disney+ worldwide.[9]

Reception

In 2020, the manga was one of the 50 nominees for the sixth Next Manga Awards.[10] It was one of the Jury Recommended Works at the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2021,[11] and at the 25th edition in 2022.[12]
