Kamikamikaeshi (Japanese: 神々返し) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ema Tōyama. It was first serialized in Kodansha’s shōjo manga magazine Bessatsu Friend from May 17, 2010, to October 17, 2011, before continuing in Nakayoshi from February 3, 2012, to April 2, 2016. The series was compiled into eight tankōbon volumes.
Publication
Kamikamikaeshi was initially serialized in Bessatsu Friend, where it ran until the magazine’s final issue in 2011. Afterward, it was moved to Nakayoshi, another shōjo magazine, where it continued for another four years until its conclusion in 2016. Kodansha published the series’ chapters in eight collected volumes, with the first volume released on June 6, 2011, and the last one on June 13, 2016.
In North America, the series was licensed for English-language release by Kodansha USA. The English edition of Kamikamikaeshi was released in eight volumes from June 12, 2018, to February 12, 2019.
