Template:Nihongo foot is a Japanese light novel series written by Izumi Okido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase. It began as a web novel published on the user-generated web novel publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in December 2018. It was later acquired by Enterbrain who began publishing it as a light novel under its B's Log Bunko light novel imprint in August 2019. A manga adaptation illustrated by Akari Hoshi began serialization in Enterbrain's B's Log Comic manga website in May 2020. An anime television series adaptation produced by Maho Film premiered in October 2024.

- The protagonist. Having been reborn as the villainess, she strives to be the best she can be at it; especially as the king has hired her to bully Liz in order to push her out of her comfort zone. She gets more invested in the job as Liz has fans who pick fights and bully anyone who isn't following blindly.
- Alicia is very compassionate to the less fortunate, having taken in a child from a village who was banished as her retainer. She even giving her eye to an elder who was kind to her.

- Prince of the Kingdom. He is in love with Alicia, but cannot get his intent across. Unlike the other men who were capture targets for Liz in the game, he is annoyed by her and tries to avoid her.

- The heroine of the game. Bluntly put, Liz is a moron who thinks like a child; believing "killing is bad". Liz has mind control magic, but she doesn't know this; this resulting in her unintentionally brainwashing others into agreeing with her views. Alicia tries numerous times to help her grow up mentally, but everyone who got charmed constantly butts in. Worse, Liz almost got Alicia killed; having frozen her while attempting to kill her kidnapper with an axe. The kidnapper almost killed Alicia, but the prince was able to save her life. Liz couldn't comprehend her fault, even ignoring Alicia's statement that she was about to die. This enraged the prince for her stupidity, and he attempts to freeze her for nearly getting Alicia killed. Two years later Alicia talked to Liz about restraining only her when in fact Liz did have the power to restrain both Alicia and the thug. Liz unaware did have hidden malice for Alicia despite being the supposed Saint. And that Liz only says things more than taking action to make things better for everyone, Alicia tells Liz to have a plan to do right. Liz begins to think things through when realizing Alicia is actually helps her grow and seeing few of her followers doing bad things and framing Alicia until they are exposed. When Liz realize that Duke genuine likes Alicia and he still gets in her way, her malice grows even more and stronger, combining malice and her magic causes the people in her spell to be more controlled and violent.

When Alicia asked Albert if he would not draw his sword when a family member is about to be killed, due to Liz's charm spell he says he would not as this shows his willingness to betray his family for being against the concept of self-defense and has abandoned his pride as knight.

Written by Izumi Okido, Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo began serialization as a web novel on the user-generated web novel publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in December 2018. It was then acquired by Enterbrain who began publishing it as a light novel under its B's Log Bunko light novel imprint with illustrations by Jyun Hayase on August 15, 2019. As of March 2024, six volumes have been released. The light novel is licensed in North America by Yen Press.[1]

A manga adaptation illustrated by Akari Hoshi began serialization on Enterbrain's B's Log Comic manga website on May 5, 2020.[2] It has been collected in four volumes as of August 2023. The manga adaptation is also licensed in North America by Yen Press.[3]

Anime
An anime television series adaptation was announced on August 9, 2023.[4] It is produced by Maho Film and is directed by Yūji Yanase, with Sawako Hirabayashi handling series scripts, Yūko Watabe and Eri Kojima designing the characters, and Moe Hyūga composing the music.[5] The series premiered on October 2, 2024, on Tokyo MX and other networks, and is set to run for 13 episodes.[6][7]Template:Efn The opening theme song is Template:Nihongo performed by Liyuu, while the ending theme song is Template:Nihongo performed by Rin Kurusu.[8] Crunchyroll stream the series.[9]
