It has been serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's [[Seinen manga|Template:Transliteration manga]] magazine Template:Ill since March 2020, with its chapters collected in seven Template:Transliteration volumes as of August 2024. An anime television series adaptation produced by Ajia-do Animation Works is set to premiere in January 2025.

Manga

Written and illustrated by Template:Ill, From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! started in Shōnen Gahōsha's [[Seinen manga|Template:Transliteration manga]] magazine Template:Ill on March 16, 2020.[1][2] Shōnen Gahōsha has collected its chapters into individual Template:Transliteration volumes. The first volume was released on December 16, 2020.[3] As of August 5, 2024, seven volumes have been released.[4]

Anime

In January 2024, it was announced that the manga would receive an anime television series adaptation.[5] It will be animated by Ajia-do Animation Works and directed by Template:Ill, with series composition by Template:Ill, character designs by Haruka Matsunae and monster designs by Yuki Miyamoto. The music is composed by Template:Ill, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe, and Kaho Sawada. The series is set to premiere on January 10, 2025, on the Super Animeism Turbo programming block on JNN affiliates, including MBS and TBS.[6][7][8]Template:Efn

Sentai Filmworks licensed the series in North America for streaming on Hidive.[9] In South and Southeast Asia, the series has been licensed by Muse Communication.[10]

Reception

In 2020, the manga was nominated for the sixth Next Manga Awards in the print category and placed fourth out of the 50 nominees with 17,633 votes.[11][12][13]
