It began serialization online in January 2014 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The series was later acquired by TO Books, which began publishing it in print under their TO Bunko imprint in June 2018. As of October 2024, the series has released 19 volumes and two short stories. A manga adaptation and an anime television series have also been produced.
