Lars Fiske (born 21 July 1966) is a Norwegian comics writer, artist, and picture book creator. Known for his innovative storytelling and artistic style, Fiske has received critical acclaim for his work in both comics and children's literature. He was born in Oslo and is married to fellow illustrator and writer Anna Fiske.

Career in Comics

Early Works and "Matje" Series

Fiske debuted in the comics world with the album Matje: debutanten in 1996, which introduced his character Matje. The sequel, Matje-ismen, followed in 2000. Both works showcased Fiske’s unique artistic style and earned him recognition in the Norwegian comics scene.

Collaboration on Olaf G.

In 2004, Fiske collaborated with Steffen Kverneland to create the graphic biography Olaf G., based on the life of Norwegian cartoonist Olaf Gulbransson. The Kanon Series
