The Company of Undertakers, also known as The Arms of the Undertakers, is a 1736 engraving by William Hogarth that mocks a group of fashionable London physicians and quacks, arranged in a mock coat-of-arms examining urine samples.[1] The title plays on "undertaker" in its older sense of one who undertakes a task, while implying the physicians' incompetence sends patients to actual undertakers.
