Template:Rights record

This template records where a scan came from and who holds the rights to it. WikiToon renders it as the provenance panel on the file page.

Every parameter is optional, but a file with no evidence or reference is filed into Category:Files with no rights evidence and shows an ochre Provenance missing state. Write "Unknown" and say what you searched rather than leaving a field blank — an honest gap is better than a blank that looks like nobody looked.
