Satire on False Perspective is a 1754 engraving by William Hogarth, created as the frontispiece for a treatise on perspective drawing by his friend Joshua Kirby, deliberately packed with absurd and impossible perspective errors to illustrate the pitfalls of ignoring proper perspective technique.[1] The print remains widely reproduced today as a visual demonstration of perspective mistakes in art instruction.
