English: Mayumi Tanaka, an award-winning actress who voices the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy in the global phenomenon “One Piece,” laughs on stage with rock singer NANO, the master of ceremonies, at Yokota-Con, March 4, 2023, at the Taiyo Community Center on Yokota Air Base, Japan. This year, Yokota-Con showcased in-country talent with live performances from dance and vocal group MADKID and dance group GinyuforcE. The event also featured live drawing from Sakura Ebi, a manga artist from Osaka, and Hiroshi Shimizu, former key animator for Studio Ghibli. Yokota-Con was hosted by the 374th Force Support Squadron in an effort to bring the community together in a celebration of artwork, talent, and creativity.
