Kovacs is shown performing one of a series of short "used car dealer" gags. In the one represented by this still, he slaps the fender lightly and the car falls through the floor.

Publicity release is dated 19 March 1968. The special aired 9 April 1968.
From 1960 to 1961, Kovacs did a series of monthly specials for ABC. The 1968 special was comprised of videotape clips from eight of themonthly specials. The Baltimore Sun received the photo with publicity release from ABC and ran the image in their television section of 9 April 1968.
Note that it may still be copyrighted in jurisdictions that do not apply the rule of the shorter term for US works (depending on the date of the author's death), such as Canada (50 p.m.a.), Mainland China (50 p.m.a., not Hong Kong or Macao), Germany (70 p.m.a.), Mexico (100 p.m.a.), Switzerland (70 p.m.a.), and other countries with individual treaties.
