File:Comics third page.svg

Original file(SVG file, nominally 240 × 120 pixels, file size: 7 KB)

This file is from Wikimedia Commons and may be used by other projects. The description on its file description page there is shown below.

Description

Rearrangement of the "Standard" half-page layout used to fit the comic on one-third of a page for Sunday comics in American newspapers. The layout is also used for some webcomics, and may well be used in other countries as well.

Note that, as explained at the Comic strip formats Wikipedia article, "Thirds usually drop several panels, and [...] Most people who casually read the Sunday comics are not aware that they are missing several panels of a strip if their newspaper runs it as a third."
