DescriptionCalico Ghost Town, CA (6432318017).jpg
English: (1 in a multiple picture set)
Well, here's the thing about Calico. It was a mining town. It was a ghost town. Now it has been restored by the Knott Family (Knott's Berry Farm) and is a State Park. So, you will find yourself in a tourist attraction. That is good in that you can find refreshment, but bad in that you can't really capture the feeling of the past. But, I guess I am glad that it's deterioration has been stopped, and one can still see what it was like back in the day.
