English: Noted Comic book writer and novelist Chris Claremont at Columbia University's Low Library on March 24, 2012, the second of the two-day Comic New York symposium. In 2011 Claremont, who wrote for the X-Men comics for 17 consecutive years, and created many popular chararcters, donated archives of all his major writing projects over the previous 40 years to the Library's graphic novel collection. In the photo, he looking through a copy of a hardcover X-Men volume that collects many of the issues he wrote, which a fan has given to him to sign.
