Category:Files with no rights evidence

This category gathers every file on CartoonWiki whose rights record is missing its evidence — in other words, a file page exists, but nobody has yet recorded how we know who holds the rights to it. A file here shows Provenance missing in ochre on its file page.

A file lands here the moment its rights record is saved without that evidence filled in, and leaves automatically once it is. Being listed here is not a judgment that a file is unfree or wrongly used — it's a to-do list, not an accusation.

If you can supply the missing evidence

Edit the file's Rights: page and fill in the evidence: how we know who holds the rights (a permission email, a licence tag, a public-domain rule and the facts that satisfy it) and, if you have one, a reference link or citation. See CartoonWiki:Rights primer for what counts as evidence and how to record it.

If you can't

Leave it listed. A flagged file stays up while its provenance is sorted out — it is not deleted on sight, per the general disclaimer. If you believe a specific file doesn't belong here, or should be removed from the wiki entirely, raise it at CartoonWiki:Community portal.
