He ends up sliding towards the window and gets bored with his job as a lighthouse keeper as he can't read his book while the light rotates around, and when he sees a sleeping pelican out the window, he decides to wake him up by shining the light on him. After the pelican wakes up, he moves to another spot, When he goes back to sleep Donald shines the light on him again. So the pelican blocks the light with his nest, but stands of light shines through the twigs. The pelican gets fed up and invades the lighthouse, putting out the light.
